Artist's Comments

One of my proudest drwaings.

As the new guy here, I should introduce my character, The Anima Raptor (Ani for short) ( Feel free to call me Ani, also).

I've been working on this guy for about a year now (wow, time flies) and have gone quite a long way.

This is done with regular 0.7 mechanical pencil on sketchbook paper, lightly computer cleaned.

Yes, I know there are a few things I could fix here and there, but please say what you must say.

Nice work, the effort is readily apparent in the intricate shading. Kudos!

Very nice drawing!

Thank You, but don't get too excited...

When I said that this was one of my proudest, I mean it's the best I've got so far, save a Photoshop work here or there.

Yeah, this is one of the few works with a background in it, and even that took ours to think of...

Just so you know, I use a fully posable 18in. Spider-man figure as a referance for the muscles and poses and stuff. Trust me, it's a good referance.

The only thing I wish I could fix were the swords; they're sopposed to be a bit longer and thicker (Approx. 3ft overall, 1ft handle, 2ft blade.)

This is my fave out of the stuff i've seen in your gallery. The shading is impressive and the position is great. I did think his foot looked rather odd but I could be lookin' at it wrong  It must have taken patience :D It looks good none the less.

Actually, yur right. The foot is alittle screwed up, and the background is alttle lazy.

But hey, good times.

:iconxebi:
:D Yeah apart from that it's really good. Detailed.
