I wont spoil anything, but I'll first say that i havent read the book. I knew enough about it since its a golden topic in my History of Comics class, but i purposefully didnt read it since i wanted to go into the movie with fresh eyes.
And, I'm really glad I abstained, because from what i know, this ending is (although within the same context) better then the book XD The movie itself was a roller coaster ride for the mind/senses, and you have to go into the movie knowing that its extremely faithful to the book, so despite some lame costumes of the 40's superheroes depicted from time to time and some cheesy 80's music, everything else is ridiculously faithful to the novel and looks amazing. And Its also deep... suuuuuuuuuuuuper deep, with which you'll find out during the end. Whatever you think the plot is about in the beginning will totally change in the end, and you'll face a morally tough decision. Lets just say something catastrophic happens, but its up to you to decide whether or not it was the right thing to do. This movie seriously plays with your head.
But anyway, life has been alittle rocky but its been necessary i suppose. Money getting tighter, my job getting sparse, school getting harder, the distance from Annie seeming to grow longer... but nothing getting out of my room and getting some fresh air hasnt fixed ^__^.
Also went to MegaCon in Orlando, Fl this year, and that was a ton of fun. Good to have a day to Nerd out
So ya, things have been alright. I'm just learning to grow up, i suppose. *shrugs*
